The short version

FlowRush is playable fully anonymously. We store the minimum needed to run world leaderboards and multiplayer. No ads, no third-party trackers, no selling data. Ever.

What we store

• An anonymous player ID — a random identifier in a cookie, so your scores stay yours between visits.
• Your nickname — whatever you choose; it appears on public leaderboards.
• Your country code — derived from your IP by our hosting provider (Cloudflare) for leaderboard flags. We never store your IP address.
• Game results — puzzle times, scores, streaks, league placement.
• Progress backup — only if you protect your account with a password. Passwords are stored securely hashed (scrypt); we cannot read them.
• Push subscription — only if you explicitly enable notifications; you can revoke it anytime in your browser settings.

What we don't do

• No advertising and no advertising identifiers.
• No email addresses, phone numbers, names or payment data — we never ask for them.
• No selling, renting or sharing of your data with anyone.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how the game is played (pages visited, levels completed, approximate region). This data is aggregated and never linked to your nickname or scores by us.

Cookies

One strictly-necessary cookie (fr_pid) keeps your anonymous identity. Game progress is stored on your own device (localStorage). No marketing cookies exist.

Data removal

To delete your data, email [email protected] from any address, stating your nickname. We remove the player record, scores and any backups within 30 days.

Children

FlowRush is suitable for all ages and collects no personal information beyond the above.
